Rhymes and Verses

Down in the barnyard, early in the morn
A fuzzy little chick was born
cheep, cheep, cheep
peep, peep, peep
Soft and new
hungry too.
His lit-tle head goes up and down
pecking on the hard hard ground
when he's done it's time to rest,
on his mother's feathered nest
A little green frog sat on a log
and said, "no one likes me."
A little duck said, "you are wrong,"
and gobbled him up for tea.
Cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck
Go-od morning mother hen, how many chickens have you got?
Madam I have ten
Four of them are yellow,
four of them are brown,
Two of them are speckled red the nicest of the town.
Cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck.

  1. The little green frog gets gobbled up for tea? Seriously? This sounds like the Pheobe version of children's songs.
